Customising refund options provides flexibility to your customers and can enhance their experience. Offering alternatives like a bonus for store credit or a discount for exchanges can encourage repeat business, while still offering a standard payment refund for those who prefer it.
How do I configure the Refund Options in Reversio?
To set the Refund Options for your store, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Reversio dashboard.
- Navigate to the “Return Portals” section.
- Under “Return Flow,” locate the “Refund Options” settings.
You can configure the following refund methods:
1. Gift Card: Offer customers a percentage bonus if they choose to accept a refund via store credit (gift card).• Bonus Percentage: You can set the percentage of the bonus customers receive on their gift card when returning an item. For example, in the screenshot, customers receive a 10% bonus for opting for a gift card.
- Why use this option? This method encourages customers to return and shop again in your store, while also offering them added value for choosing store credit.
2. Return Benefit:This option allows you to offer an extra incentive for customers who choose to exchange items instead of a direct refund.• Free Shipping Discount
3. Code: You can enable this option to offer a free shipping discount code to customers who opt for an exchange rather than a refund.
- Why use this option? This helps promote exchanges over refunds, keeping customers satisfied while reducing lost sales.
4. Payment Refund: The default method where customers are refunded to their original payment method. This is always enabled in Reversio.
