What are Actions in Reversio?
The Actions settings in Reversio define the options available to customers when they initiate a return. These actions allow customers to handle their returns through three main processes: Claims, Swaps, and Exchanges. You can enable or disable these actions based on your return policy.
Why are Actions important?
Configuring Actions allows you to offer flexibility in how customers manage their returns. By offering claims, swaps, or exchanges, you can cater to different customer needs, making the return process more efficient and improving overall satisfaction.
Types of Actions:
- Claims Enabled:
- Allows customers to submit claims for missing or damaged items.This action is typically used when an item arrives defective or parts of the order are missing.
- The claim process will help resolve the issue, often resulting in a replacement or a refund.
- Swap Enabled:
- Allows customers to swap items for a different size or color of the same product.
- Swaps are limited to the same product SKU and only allow changes in size or color. This is ideal for products with multiple variants, such as clothing or accessories.
- Exchanges Enabled:
- Allows customers to exchange items for a different product altogether.
- Unlike swaps, exchanges give customers the flexibility to choose a completely different product from your catalog. This is useful when a customer prefers a different item over the one they originally ordered.
- "Something else enabled":
- This feature exists as a way to let customers change from swapping to exchanging. If a customer chooses to swap, the next window allows the customer to change color or size. Switching "something else enabled" will make it possible to press a button that takes the customer to the exchange window.
How do I configure Actions in Reversio?
Follow these steps to configure actions:
- Log in to your Reversio dashboard.
- Navigate to the “Return Portals” section.
- Under “Return Flow,” find the “Actions” settings.
- Toggle the options for Claims, Swaps, and Exchanges according to your return policy.
- Enable or disable each action by switching the toggle buttons next to each option.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Can I enable all actions at once?
Yes! You can enable all three options — Claims, Swaps, and Exchanges — simultaneously, allowing customers to choose the action that best fits their situation.
