When your SPY ERP is connected, you're ready to process returns. This article explains how the integration between Reversio and SPY works and walks you through the return process - from receiving the return package to completing the return.
Step 1: Navigate to "Scan Shopify Returns"
- Log in to your SPY account.
- Go to Sales -> Claims/Returns -> Scan Shopify Returns.
Step 2: Scan the barcode to access the return order
- Scan the barcode on the return parcel
- OR enter the tracking number manually
Step 3: Scan the returned items
- Scan the items included in the return package one by one
Step 4: Save the scanned item
- Click "Save item" to register the scanned item
Step 5: Complete the return
- Click "Confirm" to complete and process the return
- Once completed, the return is automatically processed according to the chosen return solution in Reversio.
- Processing of the return is automatically synced with Shopify and Reversio.
The return is now successfully processed.

How Returns and Exchanges appear in Shopify
When a return or exchange is created in Reversio:
The return is created on the original Shopify order
The same return is synced to SPY
All systems stay aligned
Ex: Returns with exchanges in Shopify
Ex: Returns without exchanges in Shopify

Fully automated workflow between SPY and Reversio
1. Customer submits a return
The customer registers the return (with or without exchange) in Reversio.
2. Reversio creates the return
The return and exchange are created in Shopify
The same return is synced to SPY
3. Warehouse receives the return
Go to Sales -> Claims/Returns -> Scan Shopify Returns.
Locate the return
The return is already prepared
Confirm it
4. Refund and/or exchange is processed
Once approved in SPY
Refunds and exchanges are handled automatically
The return is closed
